Here are some of the most commonly asked questions related to baking and my blog. I will add to this list as questions come up. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact me!
What equipment do you use?
I have a gas powered oven and a KitchenAid mixer, which I use for nearly all my recipes. If you have different equipment, that may affect the final product (for example if you mix cookie dough by hand instead of with mixer). For specific tools essential to the recipe, I will make a note in the recipe’s post.
Is there nutritional information for your recipes?
No. Nutritional calculations can be imperfect and depend on brands, the calculator itself, etc. I recommend finding one you trust and entering the ingredients you will use.
How can I support your blog?
Thanks for your interest! I have a donation form, which can be found on the about page. As I grow this blog, I will introduce other ways for supporting the cost of recipe-making and maintaining it.
Why do you weigh out your ingredients?
Weighing ingredients is more accurate than using the traditional US cup. Weighing is a big factor in a recipe turning out consistently every time you make it. I highly suggest purchasing a scale! It takes getting used to, but it’s so worth it.
